NEWS:

 

The Z-Box was featured on HGTV's "What You Get for the Money" in April of 07.

 

DHD is currently developing the Z-Box as a system of prefab components that can be wheeled through the doors of loft apartments and assembled in a matter of days. The first of these prefab assemblies is expected to be installed in a loft this summer.  Stay tuned for updates, and please contact Dan if you're interested in a Z-Box of your own.

Construction of the deManio/Downing Residence in Carlisle, MA is complete.

Dan Hisel was named a 2005 winner in the Young Architects Forum, sponsored by the Architectural League of New York.  Work of the winning firms has been published in  Young Architects 7: Situating, from Princeton Architectural Press.

 

The Heavy/Light House received a Progressive Architecture Award Citation, as well as an award for Unbuilt Architecture from the Boston Society of Architects.  The project was published in the January '04 editions of Architecture and Architecture Boston.
